Privacy

• Your PDFs stay on your device. They are opened, rearranged, and exported by code running in your browser. They are never uploaded to this site or to anyone else.
• No accounts. There is nothing to sign up for, and I don’t ask for your name or email to use the tool.
• This site shows Google ads. Google AdSense runs on every page and uses cookies. You can turn off personalized ads using the links below.
• Your settings are saved in your browser (paper size, gutter, and so on) so they are still there next time. They never include your PDF or its filename.

When you open a PDF in Booklet Imposer, the file is read, arranged into booklet order, previewed, and exported entirely inside your browser. The file’s contents, its name, and its pages are not sent to my server or to any third party. The finished booklet PDF is created on your device and saved straight to it.

I never see, store, or keep copies of your documents. If you want to confirm this, open your browser’s developer tools, switch to the Network tab, and export a booklet: none of the requests carries your file.

To save you from setting everything up again, the tool remembers your choices (units, paper size, custom sheet size, gutter, creep, bleed, which marks to print, and similar options) in your browser’s local storage. This data stays on your device, is not sent to me, and never includes your PDF or its filename.

You can remove it at any time by clearing the site data for bookletimposer.com in your browser settings. The tool works fine without it; it just starts from the defaults.

Booklet Imposer is free, and it is paid for by ads served through Google AdSense. The AdSense script is loaded on every page of this site as soon as the page opens, so Google may set or read cookies (or use similar technologies such as device identifiers) while you browse here.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The booklet tool keeps working if you do.

This site does not run Google Analytics or any other analytics or tracking script of its own. The site is served by our hosting provider, which, like any web host, processes basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type in order to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.

If you write to hello@bookletimposer.com, I receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. I use it only to reply to you. I don’t add anyone to a mailing list, and I don’t sell or share personal information.

This site is not directed at children under 13, and I don’t knowingly collect personal information from them.
